NextStack Academy's Signature Program

IT Career Blueprint System

One connected 100-day journey combining four essential technical stacks. Instead of studying each area in isolation, you build capability progressively — from core network infrastructure to systems, security, and enterprise-scale infrastructure.

Duration
One connected 100-day journey
Format
Online learning plus scheduled in-person practical training
Structure
Four connected technical stacks in one program
Next batch
Starts January 10, 2027

How It Is Structured

One program.
One 100-day journey.
Four connected stacks.

This is the single most important thing to understand about the Blueprint — and the thing most often misread.

Infrastructure does not work in isolation, so it should not be learned in isolation. A wireless deployment depends on the VLAN design. Security controls depend on knowing where traffic actually flows. Enterprise infrastructure depends on all of it working underneath.

The Blueprint teaches them in that order, in one continuous program. Each stack builds on the environment you already understand, so by day 100 you are not holding four separate sets of notes — you are holding one working mental model of an enterprise environment.

Important clarification

Four stages, one 100-day program

They are not four separate 100-day programs, and the stacks are not enrolled in individually.

  • 1Core Network Infrastructure Stack
  • 2Enterprise Network Systems Stack
  • 3Enterprise Cybersecurity Stack
  • 4Enterprise Infrastructure Stack

Total programme length: 100 days.

The Four Stacks

What you build, stage by stage

Each stack has its own focus, but they are taught as one continuous progression inside the same 100-day program.

Level 1

Core Network Infrastructure Stack

Design and build enterprise-grade networks.

Everything else in the program sits on this. You learn how physical infrastructure and logical network design work together, so later stacks have something solid to run on.

  • Enterprise network infrastructure
  • Structured cabling systems
  • Fiber backbone deployment
  • Switching and routing fundamentals
  • IP network design
  • VLAN segmentation
  • Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies
  • Traffic flow and network architecture
  • Real-world infrastructure design

Level 2

Enterprise Network Systems Stack

Engineer and deploy enterprise IT systems.

The systems most Philippine enterprises actually run on top of the network — wireless, voice, and surveillance — and how they are integrated rather than installed in isolation.

  • Enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure
  • IP PBX and unified communications
  • CCTV and video surveillance
  • Wireless planning and deployment
  • SIP trunks and IP phones
  • VLAN design for voice, wireless, and CCTV
  • Systems integration
  • Network architecture for converged services
  • Real-world enterprise deployment

Level 3

Enterprise Cybersecurity Stack

Implement and operate enterprise security controls.

Security applied to the infrastructure you have already built — the controls, the monitoring behind them, and the response process when something is detected.

  • Next-generation firewalls
  • Endpoint protection
  • Extended detection and response
  • Network detection and response
  • Identity and access management
  • Security monitoring
  • Threat hunting and incident response
  • Vulnerability assessment
  • Security hardening
  • Enterprise security architecture

Level 4

Enterprise Infrastructure Stack

Engineer modern data center and hyperconverged systems.

The compute, storage, and continuity layer — how enterprise workloads are hosted, kept available, backed up, monitored, and recovered.

  • Enterprise server administration
  • Hyperconverged infrastructure
  • Virtualization and cloud fundamentals
  • Storage and data management
  • High availability and failover
  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • Infrastructure monitoring
  • Data-center operations
  • Enterprise infrastructure design

Program Journey

The 100 days, phase by phase

Each stack runs as online learning followed by a scheduled in-person block where the work moves onto real equipment — four of each across the 100 days.

Day 1Day 100
  1. Days 1 – 23Online23 days

Online learning — Core Network Infrastructure

Instructor-led lessons that pair each concept with simulation and guided demonstration. Physical infrastructure and logical network design are built together, because everything later in the program sits on this.

    • Core Network Infrastructure Stack
  2. Days 24 – 25In-person2 days

In-person practical training — Core Network Infrastructure

Equipment handling, cabling, and switch and router configuration on real hardware, where the online work is tested against real constraints.

    • Core Network Infrastructure Stack
  3. Days 26 – 38Online13 days

Online learning — Enterprise Network Systems

The systems Philippine enterprises actually run on top of the network — wireless, voice, and surveillance — taught as an integration problem rather than as separate installations.

    • Enterprise Network Systems Stack
  4. Days 39 – 40In-person2 days

In-person practical training — Enterprise Network Systems

Hands-on deployment and integration of wireless, IP telephony, and surveillance systems onto the network foundation from the first stack.

    • Enterprise Network Systems Stack
  5. Days 41 – 73Online33 days

    Online learning — Enterprise Cybersecurity

Security applied to the infrastructure you have already built — the controls, the monitoring behind them, and the response process when something is detected.

    • Enterprise Cybersecurity Stack
  6. Days 74 – 75In-person2 days

In-person practical training — Enterprise Cybersecurity

Configuring and operating security controls on live equipment, then working through detection and response on the environment you built.

    • Enterprise Cybersecurity Stack
  7. Days 76 – 98Online23 days

    Online learning — Enterprise Infrastructure

The compute, storage, and continuity layer — how enterprise workloads are hosted, kept available, backed up, monitored, and recovered.

    • Enterprise Infrastructure Stack
  8. Days 99 – 100In-person2 days

In-person practical training, integration, and assessment

Hands-on work across all four stacks together, final integration scenarios, assessment, and completion activities that close the 100-day journey.

What the Program Includes

Everything that makes up the 100 days

One program, one 100-day journey

The four stacks are stages inside a single program, not four separate enrolments.

Four connected technical stacks

Core Network Infrastructure, Enterprise Network Systems, Enterprise Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Infrastructure, in that order.

Online plus in-person practical training

Structured online learning across the 100 days, with a scheduled in-person block closing each stack.

Instructor-led lessons

Live teaching rather than recorded material you work through alone.

Guided simulations and demonstrations

Each concept paired with a worked example so you see the reasoning before you apply it.

Hands-on activities with real tools

Equipment handling, configuration, and installation on the hardware the work actually uses.

Assessments and project-based application

Checks that measure understanding and practical application, plus scenario work that produces real deliverables.

Career habits and accountability

Structure, follow-through, and professional communication. The habits that decide whether your technical skill is ever trusted with real responsibility.

Certificate upon successful completion

A NextStack certificate of completion. We do not claim industry accreditation for it — the substance is the capability behind it.

How Learning Works

Every lesson follows the same shape

Concept, simulation, demonstration, then your own hands on it. Repeated across 100 days, that pattern is what turns knowledge into capability.

  1. 01

    Theory and simulation, combined

Each technical lesson pairs the concept with a simulation of the behaviour, so you understand what is happening before you touch a configuration.

  2. 02

    Demonstration with the reasoning attached

The instructor performs the configuration or installation live while explaining why each step exists and what would break without it.

  3. 03

    Practical activity after every lesson

You reproduce the work yourself. Understanding is confirmed by execution, not by nodding along during the session.

  4. 04

    Real-world scenarios throughout

Design decisions, deployment constraints, and fault situations drawn from actual project conditions rather than clean textbook cases.

  5. 05

In-person sessions for the physical work

Equipment handling, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and integration — the parts that cannot be learned through a screen.

  6. 06

    Assessments that measure both

Understanding and practical application are both assessed, so the certificate reflects capability rather than attendance.

FAQ

Questions about the Blueprint

No. The IT Career Blueprint System is one program and one 100-day journey. The four technical stacks are stages inside that single journey — you progress through Core Network Infrastructure, then Enterprise Network Systems, then Enterprise Cybersecurity, then Enterprise Infrastructure, as one connected build. Any earlier material describing separate 100-day programs per stack is outdated.

One hundred days. One connected journey. Four stacks.

If you are ready to stop collecting tutorials and start building capability in a structured sequence, this is the program built for it.
