Why This Program Exists

Technical skill is not the same as a business

Most IT professionals who go independent are good at the work and improvising everything else — pricing by guesswork, quoting without scope, marketing by waiting for referrals, and discovering the compliance requirements only when a client asks for documents they do not have.

This is a four-day practical program that turns technical capability into a structured, profitable business. Each day produces decisions and documents rather than notes, and all of them feed one capstone: your own Million-Dollar IT Business Blueprint.

Who this is built for

  • IT freelancers and consultants
  • Aspiring IT entrepreneurs and technical professionals moving into business ownership
  • Owners and operators of small IT businesses
  • Providers of structured cabling, enterprise networking, cybersecurity, servers, managed services, IT support, and training

No accounting, marketing, or legal background required. Bring working knowledge of at least one IT service area, a business idea to build around, and a laptop with spreadsheet software.

The Four Days

What each day covers

The sequence is deliberate: get the business legitimate and bid-ready first, build the offer and the demand for it, then learn to win and close the work, and finally run the numbers that keep it alive.

  • Business registration, SEC, BIR, and business permits
  • PCAB licensing and PhilGEPS registration
  • Tax clearance and financial statements
  • Net Financial Contracting Capacity (NFCC)

Each day runs 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and ends with a capstone checkpoint, so the Blueprint is built progressively rather than written on the final afternoon.

The Capstone

You leave with your Million-Dollar IT Business Blueprint

Every workshop page feeds one section of a single document — a working plan for your own business, not a generic template.

  1. 1

    Vision, goals, and founder role

What the business is for, the targets for the year, and what you personally own in it.

  2. 2

    Target market and customer profile

The specific market you serve and the client you are built to win.

  3. 3

    Offer and packages

Scope, deliverables, assumptions, and exclusions, packaged so clients can choose.

  4. 4

    Pricing and unit economics

Costing, pricing model, and the difference between margin and markup, applied to your own numbers.

  5. 5

    Marketing plan and core copy

A measurable plan plus the copy that carries it.

  6. 6

    Sales process and playbook

How a conversation moves from enquiry to signature, including proposals and closing.

  7. 7

    Partnerships and JV plan

Who you work with to reach projects you cannot deliver alone.

  8. 8

    Entity, compliance, and bidding

Registration status, a compliance calendar, and how you qualify for projects.

  9. 9

    Financial snapshot and collections

Where the money is, what it costs to operate, and how it gets collected.

  10. 10

    Delivery systems and processes

The documented steps that let the work happen consistently without you in every detail.

  11. 11

    90-day action plan

What you do first, in what order, once the four days are over.

How You Learn

Workshops, not lectures

Every session is built around work you do on your own business, using one consistent case example so the numbers stay connected across the four days.

Workshops, not lectures

Guided workshops using real IT service examples. One consistent case business runs through every exercise, so the numbers reconcile across all four days.

Role-plays with feedback

Sales and negotiation practice under realistic conditions, not theory about persuasion.

Worksheets for your own business

Every activity produces a page you keep, which is why you finish with a blueprint rather than a notebook.

An honest scope note

  • This is an introductory intensive. You leave with working drafts and clear next steps — not mastery of tax law, procurement, or accounting.
  • Where professional advice is required, the materials say so: an accountant for your books, a lawyer for your contracts, a procurement specialist for complex bids.
  • Financial figures used in the sessions are teaching assumptions. Results depend on your market, your execution, and your follow-through.

What You Should Be Able To Do Afterwards

Outcomes written as capabilities

What you can do with your own business after the four days, not a list of topics you sat through.

Define and validate a market

Choose a focused target market and test real demand before building a full offer around it.

Design an IT service offer

Set scope, deliverables, assumptions, and exclusions so a client knows exactly what they are buying.

Cost and price properly

Apply project, hourly, daily, recurring, and value-based models, and tell margin from markup.

Market and write with intent

Build a measurable marketing plan and write truthful, persuasive copy for it.

Sell and negotiate with preparation

Run sales conversations and negotiations from a structured preparation sheet instead of instinct.

Keep the business compliant and solvent

Track registration and compliance obligations, qualify for bids, and plan revenue, profit, and cash flow.
